This hansom cavalry officer wears a dark shell jacket with his rank insignia on his shoulders. At the angle of the image, it is not possible to identify his
rank. He has a belt rig across his chest for his sword (not visible in the photo). His waist belt has a rectangular eagle belt plate that is clearly visible in
this 1/6 plate tintype. He has two large caliber pistols tucked into his belt, but there is not enough visible to I.D. the revolvers. This tintype comes in a full
case with an early silk pillow. The case has it's original binding still intact. The image is a bit dark, but it is super well focused. #11043=$475.00
