1/6 plate tintype of a seated cavalry trooper wearing a shell jacket and a great coat. The buttons on both have been heavily gilded. He wears
a western style hat with crossed swords and a feather. He has removed his cavalry pistol from its holster and tucked it under his belt, which has a
rectangular belt plate. The trooper holds an unsheathed sword up for the camera. The tin is a bit dark and milky as seen in the scan. The image comes
in a "Constitution and the Laws" thermoplastic case that is in rough condition. There is no identification of the soldier. #11080=$335.00
