This 1/6 plate tintype has it all. The waist up view features this infantry private with his 1861 U.S. percussion rifle-musket
in .58 caliber with bayonet attached. . He has a Sheffield style knife tucked under his belt that features a US belt plate that
is flipped upside down. He also has an 1851 Colt Navy revolver in .36 caliber. This image is so well focused that, with a loop, you
can see eagle buttons on his frock coat. The image comes in a perfect geometric thermoplastic case with a beautiful and rare purple
pillow. The image surface has some minor flaws that are seen in the scan. #11089=$850.00
