The soldier in this dual image offering is a 1/6 plate tintype. He is seated at a table with his arm posed on the table wearing his 9 button
frock coat. The tin has adhered to the cover glass because someone did not put the mat between the image and the glass (a lesson to everyone).
You can see the two spots where the tin has adhered to the left of his face. The artist has tinted the table cloth green and pink. The 1/6 clear
ambro of the little girl is FANTASTIC. She sits in a ladder back chair with her hands folded on her lap. I can only imagine that they are father
and daughter. The thermoplastic case is Berg's #2-47s "Mixed Flowers in Basket" and is considered scarce with a value alone of $150.00. The case
is in nearly perfect condition with the clasp intact and the hinges tight. There is a tiny flea bite on two corners. No identification for either subject. #5036=$275.00
