The dark collar and the variety of buttons on this soldier's shell jacket make me think he might be confederate.
A 1/6 plate tintype in excellent condition comes in a full case that is a leather bound, book style case with a front
clasp. This dark haired and blue eyed soldier has a thousand yard stare. His cheeks are roughed and he has a shell
jacket and a military vest. The jacket has at least two different style of buttons. At the bottom is at least one two
piece, while most of the rest appear to be one piece. I can't quite make a device out on the buttons. The tintype has
a couple of emulsion spots on his left chest and continuing above his shoulder. #5487=$285.00
