Quarter plate ambroytype of an armed Union infantryman. This soldier sports a rifled musket with a bayonet on it.
He wears a 4 button sack coat, US belt plate and a cross belt with a US eagle plate. The image is very well focused
and comes in a 1/2 gutta case. Unfortunately, as you can see in the image, it is cracked and repaired, hence the price.
