Highly unusual 1/6 plate tintype with both a 1/6 plate and a 1/9 plate mat. This is how I got the image when I purchased it in 1994. The soldier
wears a blue tinted knit 3-button pull over blouse, blue tinted trousers with suspenders and a sorry looking kepi. You can see that the double mat has
been there for a long time as the oval outline on the image mats out what is basically lost space in the photo. The wood and paper case is in nearly perfect
condition with the original tape binding. #867=$225.00
