Whomever restored this 1/6 plate ruby ambro did an excellent job. You can see from the additional scans that this
image has been broken and wonderfully stabilized. This infantry soldier wears a great coat, a Hardy hat that is pinned
at one side and has a feather or plume and a US belt plate and belt with a cap box. He holds in his hand what appears to
be either a 1/9 plate or 1/8 plate thermoplastic case. The rifle is super well focused and someone who knows civil war
rifles can like I.D. the manufacturer. Additionally, there is a photographer's label identifying the photographer as
S. Stokes of Trenton New Jersey. The restorer left that label so that it can be seen. The image comes in a case with
mismatched front and back. It is also separated at the spine. #9865=$265.00
