The I.D. in the back of the case looks solid to me. My challenge is that I can't find our soldier in the records. The I.D.
is "W. G. Parker, Company B 3rd Ark Cav., 1863". The seated soldier in this 1/9 plate clear ambrotype has coin or wooden buttons
on the jacket that has an offset opening. He has a holstered pistol on his waist. Based upon the pistol's trigger guard, I believe
it is a .44 caliber Colt Dragoon 1st Model. The image comes in a wood and paper case that is split at the seam. #9923=$750.00
