If you're into Yankee images, it doesn't get much better than this. A Yankee corporal wearing a frock coat with gilded buttons, chevrons and belt plate.
The soldier stand at attention with his musket in hand, a bayonet in its scabbard at his hip and a fighting knife on his belt as well. The backdrop is a
tropical scene with palm trees and Sibley tents. The best piece is the very well tinted American flag covering a table at his side. The image is very
clear, but a bit dark. This is a 1/6 plate tintype in a full case with what appears to be an original binding on the case. No I.D. unfortunately. #7222=$575.00
