A 1/6th plate ambrotype of a seated unidentified South Carolina Confederate soldier. The soldier is wearing a
dark gray, ten button frock coat of coarse texture with matching pants. The buttons are large and are gilded.
They appeared to be South Carolina state buttons as a rim can be seen showing through the gilt. The soldier has
a kepi sitting on a table with a red tinted cover. The image comes in a full leatherette case with a blue pillow.
