This 1/6 plate daguerreotype couldn't be nicer. The young blue eyed woman featured here wears an elaborate black dress, black leather gloves and a black bonnet that is
lined with flowers and a tinted pink ribbon. With all of the black, I wonder if she's in mourning. The image comes in a perfect leatherette case with its original binding.
