This young gentleman is identified as H.W. Fowler age 17 yrs 1857. Some research turned up a Horace W. Fowler who
was born in 1840 or 1841 and served at a Captain with the 16th NY Heavy Artillery, but there is likely no way to tell
for sure if this was him. This is a 1/6 plate clear ambrotype that is in near perfect condition and comes in a 1/2 case. #11095=$75.00
