This 1/8 plate tintype is matted in a paper mat that features a "Playing Card" tax stamp on the reverse. At the top is a pencil I.D. that looks to me to be Hugh Skag, but I've had not
luck finding him in the records. The soldier wears a 4 button frock coat and a western style hat with a cord that may be yellow denoting cavalry. Well focused and bright. #1128=$90.00
