This unidentified 1/6 plate tintype comes in a perfect thermoplastic case with an abrasion or two on the pillow only. This soldier wears a 9 button frock coat and kepi. There is gilding on
the top of the kepi, but I'm unable to make out any numbers. He wears his leather belt with cap box and US belt plate. He also wears his cross belt with attached cartridge box and eagle plate.
He holds his musket with attached leather sling and bayonet. This image did not scan well. There heavy emulsion causing what appears to be visibility issues around his face, but the fact is the
image is fantastic in person. You won't be disappointed in this tintype. #11666=$550.00
