This horizontally posed daguerreotype features what must be sisters in their finest dresses. There is red tinting on one of the necklaces and on the bonnet. They must range in age from about 12 to 19. There is no identification, and the image comes in a leatherette case that has been repaired at the seam. Pencil writing in the case indicates this was "Winter of 1854-5 Age 17" and a name that looks like Boowel. The image has been professionally cleaned and resealed. #13424=$400.00
