1/6 plate ambrotype of a militiaman with a triple row of buttons. The image is crystal clear, bright and crisp. Under a loop, you can see that these are Massachusetts
state seal buttons. The militiaman sits at a table witha book. I can't quite make out the title of the book. He wears an intricate frock coat with braided should scales
and a tongue in wreath belt plate. The image is in a thermoplastic case that has had the pillow replaced with a piece of cloth. The hinges have been re-glued in the case and
the clasp has chipped. The ambrotype is cracked from just to the left of his shoulder down across his waist and across the book. It is tough to see the crack unless you're
looking closely for it. This is simply a great image crack & all. There is no I.D. #3152=$700.00
