There is a lot of artist tinting on this 1/4 plate tintype. The image features two characters that are either Masonic in nature or Zouaves. They both wear
heavily tinted trousers, red tinted cloth belts and fez's. In the image without the mat, you can see a lot of the photographer's studio details. There is a
large window on the right hand side and a white screen to reflect light on the left. Also, there is a counter on the right hand side with a variety of equipment.
There is no I.D. and the image comes in a thermoplastic case, Cupid with the Stag. The case is in so-so condition. The clasps are intact and the hinges are well
connected, but the pillow is a bit rough and there are nicks on the edges. The image scan over does the blue tinting. In actuality, the image views a bit better
