Published in my book "Civil War Hard Images Volume 2 - Union", this narrowly trimmed 1/4 plate tintype has a canvas backdrop with what is probably the US Capitol. Note how the canvas is rolling up on the image with no mat. This sergeant holds his NCO sword out for display and has the scabbard attached to his hip. The frock coat has the brass attachments for shoulder scales making this a likely early war image. There is no I.D. This image comes in a beautiful thermoplastic case that is in nearly perfect condition. #3833=$650.00
