The man in this image certainly has a military bearing, but I don't know whether he is a militiaman or a fraternal member. He stands at attention wearing a shako
with plume and starburst type device. His shell jacket is triple breasted with braiding similar to what you see on military academy cadets. He has a badge with a
star in the middle of the cockade and a ribbon with some type of writing on it (undistinguishable). His belt plate is an eagle and wreath with a white belt and a
white sword rig. The image is a 1/6 plate tintype with no I.D. and comes in a beautiful leatherette case with its original spine. #7087=$150.00
